Jack James Graduation 2026 – Important Information

Graduation at Jack James is a very special celebration, thoughtfully planned by Jack James staff and administration with input from our graduates. We work hard to keep costs low so our students can celebrate this important milestone with the family, friends, and support people who matter most.

Event Schedule for JJ Grad 2026 - Thursday, June 18

12:00 PM – Graduate Arrival (Graduates Only)
Graduates may arrive starting at 12:00 PM for check-in, gown pick-up, photos, and preparation. Grads will meet in the Childcare room.

1:00 PM – Doors Open for Families & Guests 
Parents, guardians, and guests may enter starting at 1:00 PM through the far gym doors. Parking is available in designated areas of the school parking lot, though spaces are limited, so arriving early is recommended.

Please note: Tickets are required for entry and will be checked at the door.

2:00 PM – Ceremony Begins
The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. 

3:30 -6:30 PM (approximate time) – Reception
All guests are invited to stay for a reception following the ceremony. A light meal will be served, including pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, and fresh tossed salad, along with a delicious assortment of desserts prepared by our amazing Jack James Chefs.

There will also be a free photo booth for graduates and their families to enjoy during the reception, with printed photo keepsakes available on-site to take home.

Following the ceremony: Graduates may return on Tuesday, June 23 to pick up a printed graduation photo taken during the ceremony.

Grad Caps/Tassels

 Students do NOT need to purchase tassels; they will be provided one for the day and to keep. If you want to purchase a cap to decorate and keep, they will be sold after March Break. Listen for announcements for dates and times.

Below is the link for Grade 12 students to book a Prestige Portrait Session at our Calgary Studio. Also attached is the Calgary Studio Prestige QR code. Students who have not had the opportunity to have a graduation session at school or would like a second sitting will need to book here.

 Step 1 - Select your Session Type - Cap and Gown Grade 12 (30 minutes).

Step 2 - Select your Date. Open dates on calendar are indicated by blue date links.
Step 3 - Select your Time.
Step 4 - Complete the Registration Form.
Step 5 - Confirm your Appointment.

 A confirmation email will be sent upon completion of booking. Please note that our Calgary Studio is located at #30, 5329 72 Avenue S.E.
