Dear Families & Caregivers,
Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! We really enjoyed seeing everyone and reconnecting after the summer break. We have a couple of reminders and information pieces to share so please keep reading!
A reminder to students and families that our school doors open at 8:00am so please keep that in mind when mornings are colder and dress for the weather if you are coming earlier than that! Speaking of our doors – students who are taking a smoke break between classes will need to be quick as the doors after the bell are now being monitored for those who are coming in late.
With a new school year comes new forms! Parents/Guardians please remember to log into SchoolEngage to complete the Annual Authorization Forms and Demographic Verification Forms. If you would prefer paper copies of these please pop into our main office as we have forms available.

Things to note:
Locks & Lockers
Students who would like a locker are encouraged to stop by the main office at lunch. Our Business Manager will help sign out a lock and assign a locker — completely free of charge. This is a great way for students to keep their belongings secure throughout the school day.
JJ School Sports
Exciting things are happening with JJ Sports! Volleyball season is starting soon, and students are encouraged to listen carefully to the daily announcements for details about tryouts and practice times. We are also thrilled to announce the arrival of our brand-new school mascot — a Jaguar! Our Jaguar will be there to cheer on the Jags and help bring school spirit to every game this year.
Sports at Forest Lawn
Students are also welcome to join sports teams at Forest Lawn High School. If your student is interested, they can connect with Mr. Marino, our Athletic Director, who will help with information and tryout times. Updates are also shared regularly on Instagram through @titanhype. Right now, Forest Lawn is recruiting for their football team, coached by Mr. Anderson, our Auto Body teacher. No previous experience is required, and everyone is welcome to come out and try something new.
Course Change Request Deadline
Reminder the deadline to change courses is on Friday September 12th. After this date, students will not be able to make switches to their semester 1 schedule. Please continue to use the QR code or link to request changes.
